Thought about ordering some cupcakes for office folks. $10 for a dozen minis. That's $10 for a dozen of the little cupcakes. sounds kind of high.

Anybody been?

I've heard good things. You will pay a premium at most bakeries. Doesn't sound outrageous though. (for a place like that)

I went. Got a dozen minis for the office. 12 tiny little cupcakes, like quarter sized, maybe a little bigger, for $10. They looked good, but a dozen cupcakes = about 3.5 bites. I didn't eat any, gave them all to the staff. They said they were good. I'm glad they enjoyed them.

As far as the price guys, it simply comes down to supply and demand. We sale out of cupcakes just about every day. We've thought about lowering the prices and trying to bake more, but it's a lot of work in a small kitchen and we're not sure that we can keep up. Despite the price, I think you would be suprised on how many people buy our cupcakes by the dozen, especially the minis! Gogo bakes her cupcakes fresh every morning and she is total perfectionist. Beleive it or not, there is a lot of TLC that goes in to every cupcake she produces, and that's why our production is limited but also why people keep coming back and paying $10 for a dozen minis. I hope when you come back, you'll try one and see for yourself.

Actually I find the mini size just perfect. Bought a dozen to take as my food donation for the UIL we were hosting at Rogers this week. They are always wonderful, and great for the bite of something sweet while leaving room for the rest of the goodies.

these prices sound fair, most places I go regular sized cupcakes are $3.95+ each (OKC Area). Where is this located will stop there on the Christmas trip back to Temple.
