i have seen plans on the waco freebirds and the drawings i saw show it being built where the article states. basically in the parking lot in front of Academy, Double dave's, etc.

Give us a time and location for the backflip. We'll need some cameras rolling.

Said backflip would probably end up with me needing a trip to the emergency room.

Wish it was at the center by the educational service center. That is the only place I go in waco.

3GA, it's only about 5 minutes down the road from there.

I know, but we have a certain amount of time for lunch and the places in that center are about the only ones we can handle and get back in time. Plus I don't know Waco that well and get lost there easily. Strange, but I have no trouble with my sense of direction most places. However it does not make sense to my inner compass. Not true to north south grid like most towns, or even the wagon spokes that fit San Antonio. I just can't get a mental map for Waco.

3GA, you should be able to make it to Freebirds easily from the center in an hour. There is only one turn to make there and back.
