I am purchasing a home outside of Copperas Cove with a Kempner address. Does anyone know who picks up trash in the Boys Ranch road area? The trash can in the backyard says IESI but the phone number on the can was incorrect and their website doesn't list Kempner or Bell County as one of there service areas. I've googled some companies but was hoping for some recommendations. Any help for trash service would be appreciated. Thanks.

I promise you I am in Bell County. I'm right in the corner. You drive two miles west and you're in Lamapasas county and two miles north you're in Coryell county.

OK, I know where that is. I didn't realize that was a Kempner mailing address. BTW, I am sure you have been to the Kempner Brick Oven. Good stuff! And I heard they serve beer now!!

Pablo-

Actually I haven't. We consider ourselves residents of Copperas Cove. We're closer to Cove than Kempner. Where is it at in Kempner? Off 190? You've peaked my interest.

Yep, on 190 on your RIGHT headed west from Cove toward Lampasas. Can't be more than 10 minutes from your house.

It's German cuisine and very good.

They also have a bakery, but get there early for strudels, Danishes, breads, etc

Also, get a few pretzel balls at the bakery, which they USUALLY have all day. They are spherical pretzels about the size of a baseball. Great for making cold cut/cheese sammiches, or just eating with mustard or caramel or whatever. Everything you need is right there in their bakery/deli.

Good stuff!

If you're a cove guy, the two best Thai restaurants in central Texas are in cove. Better than anything in Temple or Killeen. One is Tom Yum Kung in cove terrace, and the other is in that shopping center west of cove terrace, NORTH side of 190. Can't remember the name of the place. Both places are small and, well, not fancy, but the food is friggin' awesome!!

Thanks. I'll have to check it out.

As far as Thai food, I've eaten at the one in Cove Terrace. I need to find a good mexican restaurant. Then I'll be good to go.
