I am thinking of going to nursing school. Are jobs pretty plentiful in the Temple Area?

Well, there's Scott & White and a brand new Seton in Harker Heights. So yeah, there's nursing jobs around. Whether there will be openings when you hit the work force...who knows?

there will always be nursing jobs available but it might get difficult to find YOUR IDEAL job...society is living longer so more nursing homes and assisted living centers are being built.......not many people go through the rigors of nursing school and aspire to change adult diapers all day but there are openings at most NH

question...why do you want to go to nursing school?

Don't forget the VA either. The pay and benefits there exceed both S&W and Seton for most positions.

There is a shortage of nurses and I would imagine will continue to be. That is good for those trying to seek employment in the field.
