Anyone heading up to Cowboys Stadium to watch the Temple Wildcats take on defending state champs Southlake Carroll on Friday night? The Cats looked good in their first two games, and I think this game will be another shootout. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the gate. Probably the only time I'll get to Jerry World. Who's going?

Their JV teams played in West on Wednesday night. I thought that was interesting.

So, how do yall see the top 4 shaping up in that district - Midway, Cove, Temple, and Belton?

Remove Cove and insert maybe Bryan???? That is if they are still in that district. If not, you've hit it correctly because none of the Killeen ISD schools will make it.

So is the district the four teams you listed and the four KISD schools? If so you are probably correct on the playoff representatives, however Killeen HS could sneak in to knock one of those out. Heard this is the worst that Cove has been maybe since Welsh has been there, Midway will win the league and Temple finally has a coach after all the years in the cellar with a nice guy that just couldn't get the job done. Southern has a good reputation but IMO he hasn't produced what he was promised to be as of yet. All that being said, I've heard that this is the worst collection of KISD teams the district has ever put on the field which is a shame when you consider the talent that they have put into the Division I and even professional ranks the last 15 years.

if i were betting the district will shake out:

1. Midway
2. Cove
3. Belton
4. KHS

I hope Temple can get in there somehow. but then again, Belton beat Midway last year and Temple beat Belton so who knows how that will all end up.
