My Girlfriend and I live in Waco right now and are looking to move. I live near Baylor right now, and want to go somewhere a little safer, especially for those night where I come home late.
Does anyone know of any apartment complexes or realtors who rent out duplexes that offer good prices or are good deals?

If you're looking for safe, I'd start with some of the gated complexes. Saddlebrook and saddlebrook west, the retreat and the residence @ central Texas market.

Agree with Karrde. I think Saddlebrook is a little cheaper. There are some nice duplexes right across from Saddlebrook you might check out as well. No idea on their prices. One other place that might be a little bit more affordable is on old mcgregor road. If you are going west on hewitt dr towards HEB and take a right on Old McGregor rd there are some older more affordable duplexes. We had some friends live in these an they liked it and said it was cheap.

It's a nice place. I spent about three years there, moved out last fall into my own home.
