Anyone else hear that?

I've heard a few booms from time to time out there but this was incessant for about 45 minutes. I thought Red Dawn was coming to life.

Been goin' nuts for about a week. Sounds like those guys are having fun over there...

There have been time recently where I thought it was thundering because the booming was so frequent. The really have been rattlin' our dishes lately.

Yep, felt it in Hewitt too. Anyone else see the flares the other night?

I'm just glad there's someone besides SpaceX making noise.

i think i did.

i tell you what scared me poopless is that I was getting back in from a run @ about 6:30 AM one day this week and there were some booms from Fort Hood and I kid you not a firework or flare came from a block or two away. Caused all the dogs around me to go nuts.

I thought that crap got real right then. No idea what it really was.

At least SpaceX knocks it off after 10 pm.

hood doesn't START till 10 pm

a lot of people stationed at hood are in the field right now doing drills...back in the late 90's you could hear the booming from drills a lot more frequently than the last 10 or so years. i assume thats what it is

The light show and the rolling thunder! Its just a part of central TX. Love seeing the c130's and blackhawks buzzing overhead!
