Where do you stay? Or where would you recommend? Never been and would like to take the fam this summer.

. We stayed in frio country resorts. If you google "frio rio fest" it was the music fest associated with the resort. You can get more info on the cabins there. The location is BEAUTIFUL 20 feet from the river and you're surrounded by the massive hills. The only concern I have is that the river is pretty low right now and if they don't get any rain by July it won't be floatable. If you decide to go id call in advance and ask how high the water is. Also, it was a great family environment even with us drunken spring breakers there. You'll get to know your neighbors (ours were old army Ags) and make some great friends. Always a great time at the Frio River!!
