I would think walmart or target would have them. There used to be a book store in the mall (haven't been there in YEARS). So I'm not sure about it even existing anymore...

Probably need to just try a grocery store, Walgreens, Wal Mart, ....

HEB and WalMart have a magazine rack I believe.

I was hoping someone knew for sure. I so HATE to shop and the idea of having to go to several stores before I find the Johnny issue is just so irritating I will probably go without it.

I grew up over 30 miles from the nearest grocery store, and mom shopped once ever four to six weeks. I sort of do the same thing.


Book store is LONG gone. I can drive to BandN in Harker Heights and will probably do that if I can't find somewhere FOR SURE that has it in Temple or Belton. At least then I can make only one stop.

I don't know Temple well, but Hastings or Barnes & Noble will have it.

HEB will have it too.

Also, most convenience stores should have it.

There's still a Hastings in Temple? Where? and Who knew?

no hastings no barnes and noble. And I think the newsstand, wildcat newsstand is long gone from downtown. I don't go there much, but I don't remember seeing it when I did go to town.

As a favor, is someone sees the magazine, please post here where you saw it so I can immediately go to get one.

It is ridiculous that Temple has no bookstore.

Really annoying.

They carry SI at HEB, but the July 29 edition was still on the news stand. Wait a couple of days and JF will replace it.....

I thought it was totally a used book store.

It's a used bookstore. Don't know if they have a news stand..

Bottom line, grocery stores carry sports illustrated. HEB had it on the shelf last week... It was the 7/29 issue. JF is on the 8/5 cover.....

Just give it till Tuesday or Wednesday, and pick one up the next time you go get groceries.

Already bought groceries for this month, so it will have to be a special trip. I usually go right after teacher payday and buy for the month.

I will wait a day or two unless someone tells me they saw it because I don't want to waste time and gas making two trips.

I have workshops in Waco the first three days of next week so may try to trip over to the BandN there IF they have the magazine.

3rd, my daughter bought one the other day...we could get you one now and give it to you when you come to Waco for the workshop...I do think she bought hers at B&N though!

I am going to that Barnes and Noble anyway during my lunch break, so thanks so much for the offer. Hopefully they will have it. I have another book I am wanting to get while I am in Waco.

Got mine. Heb in Belton but at the check out stand. SI is never at the check out.

Saw it at heb in waco today.

Temple does have a bookstore, Whitetail Books over near Hobby Lobby.

Saw several at the Temple walmart today as well as the SEC preview mag with Johnny on the cover.
