It is terrible right now! I was fine until Jan. 2006 and suddenly I sneezed multiple times each day...and it has been every Jan since, with it slacking off in February but that 6 weeks is hell.
Get used to it... Proliferation of Juniper in Central texas will only make it worse

since awakening I have realized all that rubbing my eyes and blowing my nose has created a stye in my right lower eyelid...not a happy camper and STILL blowing my nose!
Central Texas has little to no effect on my allergies.
I grew up in West Texas cotton fields and didn't really know what it was like to breathe till i moved here.
East of College Station kills me as well.

I grew up in west tx as well. I didn't know what all the fuss about allergies was about until we came to Central Texas. Now I have become best friends with Zyrtec or Sudafed D. I may be on the Meth watch list, as I always forget to take a pill with me and end up finding the nearest HEB to buy another package.

I was up most of the night with itchy eyes, runny nose, and semi stuffy nose.
Awful.

Apparently Seattle made me somewhat immune to Cedar. Weird.

today I seem to have taken a step AWAY from relief and back to more severe issues
Jan, last night I was seriously considering tampons in the nostrils so I could go a few minutes between blowing my nose...I couldn't use it for breathing so what the heck!

not fun yesterday or today...three separate infected eyelashes from rubbing my eyes too much...range from nose being completely stopped up to drooling like a teething baby and the sneezing...................a gozillion times.
How much longer will I be miserable?!?! It seems like this stuff gets worse each year. Last night was the worst night of sleep I had in years. Both nostrils completely stuffed, mouth and throat extremely dry, and a pile of nasty tissues from the river of snot coming out of me. Who wants to go on a mission with me to annihilate every cedar tree on this earth?

I have an ongoing bowel infection and have 2 antibiotics, an anti-fungal and vicodin ALWAYS on hand....go for it!
Don't get me wrong my nose business is straight up allergy because the discharge is and has always been clear. No infection so no colorful stuff but I am so sick of the extremes of either nasal swelling and constipation or nasal diarrhea!!!

Since last Thursday I have been in San Antonio,Waco, Austin, Round Rock, Dallas, Farmers Branch, Goldthwaite, CS, Katy, and Houston.
The only time i wasn't running a drip was Waco and Temple.

This mess started for me on Jan 4th and continued until yesterday, Wednesday 22nd! MUCH better after I woke up yesterday than on any previous day and today is even better. I am hoping the rain/sleet we are currently having will clear the air...hope the freeze doesn't pop more pollen buds though!
I would like to diagnose the source of your allergies...
San Antonio = if north/west, then juniper (cedar)
Waco = Baptist grapes
Austin = probably the juniper
Round Rock = *see Austin*
Dallas = affluenza from $30,000 millionaires?
Farmers Branch = pretend Metroplex allergies Goldthwaite = meth dust
CS = Layne's and/or Cane's chicken seasoning(?)
Katy = Houston smog
Houston = regular smog

he musta stayed at Holiday Inn last night cause he's no diagnoser!
Probably about right on all accounts. Juniper hits me the worst of any of them.
I do ok sometimes in Dallas and Houston but any extended time in Austin or San Antonio and I'm pretty miserable. Was not made to live there.
