If you're lucky, this round of 'polar vortex' will blow all of it of the area.

oh baby these eyelids have been mess! My eye doc said wash face and eyelids carefully with baby shampoo and apply tiny amount of neosporin to infected areas, not to pluck lashes, warm moist compresses to keep the outer skin soft because they are really dry and flaky. He ordered Patanol drops for both eyes and said it was okay to use cortisone cream on the lids but not to get anything on the eyes except the Patanol, Liquid Tears or LacriLube. I have been using the lube at bedtime because it helps the lid dryness on the inside edge.

After an hour of warm moist compresses the worst pustule popped and it felt better almost instantly! Doc told me I need to be tested for allergy before next January!

In the process of all this I have also had areas of the lid rim split open from dryness and rubbing my eyes...no doubt cooties on my hands as well. I am a retired RN and know well about hand sanitation/germ spread but this has been barely manageable! By the time I wash my hands, dry them and sit down either the eyes or the nose is running/needs blowing....talk about never ending cycle.

The sneezing started Jan 4th and has been nonstop since. When I had an office visit in October he found early cataracts and scarring was visible on my eyes from dryness of the lids...he had me tested for thyroid problems but that was all within normal range.
