Thanks to a 1-0 victory over Salado last night in a hard fought contest. Troy scored the lone run in the bottom of the 5th on a hard hit grounder that glanced off the first baseman's glove allowing the runner to score from second. Salado threatened mightily in the top of the 7th with runners stranded on second and third as Troy recorded the final out 6-3.

I believe last year was the first time the AA State Baseball Championship want won by a Central Texas School in several years.....Rogers (2), Salado, Cameron Yoe, Jarrell....Hopefully the Trojans bring it home this year!

Go Trojans! Great news! Softball has had great success in the 2000's...glad to see baseball doing well these past few years.

Play at 4pm today

Troy was all over Idalou today and cruised to a 9-4 win. Play either Sunnyvale or East Bernard for the championship on Thursday at noon.

Sunnyvale it is.

Troy took a whoopin today 13-3.
