According to The Eagle, in the fall, TWO Fuego Tortilla Grill restaurants will open in Waco. Does anyone know where they will be, or have any good guesses?

No clue - but I will guess on part of land near new chick-fil-a by Baylor for possible site for one store.

Is the Chili's space in the parking garage still vacant?

I don't know what happened to that space

Is Fuego any good?

Hopefully it is better than Rosa's, which is awful

I've never been to one and I assumed it was a fast food joint like Rosa's but its not

The Waco location is going where the old legends cycle is and the one in woodway is going in the new building being built across 84 from HEB.

Old Legends...there's not enough parking right there if the food is good!

Fuegos is best Mexican food ever, best service, Best drive thru. Restaurant has great mgt. Only issue in CS is parking lot way to small but not keep them from always being packed. CPT P- u will love it. Whoop

Any situation as salmonella case is terrible. Can happen especially with eggs. Fuegos voluntarily shut down to clean. I give them kudos for that. I have talked with their manager (not after this episode) and very impressed with him and their operations. I will continue to eat there as often as possible unless repeat situation. They are that good.

The developer in Woodway did just change his plan to include a restaurant.

Fuego is delicious! I always try to stop by when we make it up to College Station. The owner is very down to earth also. I knew he was looking to expand, glad to see things are working out!

So, the other Fuego is going in at Speight and 16th, then? I was thinking it was going to be closer to Baylor.

Demo of the building at 16th and Speight is set to start next week.

Ah. That would make sense. I guess the Woodway location will open next, then.
