Any Ags in Dawson's Ranch? My wife and I are going to be building a new home in the neighborhood and were wondering how big our first Aggie Game Day Party would be.

We will be in the new phase on Silver Spur. Our lot is the only lot currently not developed on the block. Glad to know there are Ags in the area. When we move in (approx. 5 months from now) we will have an Aggie Happy Hour at our new place. You will all be invited!

How close is that to the dam to dam road going in? It looks very close on Google maps. Those poor homeowners in mystic mountain. They had no idea I assume that a road was going to butt up to their fences.

A side note: The Lower Colorado River Authority already buys water from the Brazos River Authority (Lake Georgetown). They put in a water line from stillhouse lake to lake georgegtown. I think the LCRA wanted to buy more water rights and the BRA said they had some water available in Lake Belton. They needed a way to get water from Belton Lake to Stillhouse (and then to Georgetown). So they are currently building a water line to connect the two. The dam to dam road is really a result of the dam to dam water line.

Rock- my old roommate will be right around the corner on twin ridge (on the corner actually)

A road will eventually connect Belton Dam and Stillhouse Dam. It is easy to see on Google Earth or Google Maps. The city of Belton has a 100' strip through red rock hills and dawson ranch. It will connect up with Wheat road on the other side.

I did some environmental work on a stretch of the proposed water line. I wasn't given a whole lot of details on it, but nothing was ever mentioned about LCRA or transport to Stillhouse. Only that it was municipal

I may have been mistaken. I had heard that there would eventually be a water line to connect the lakes, but I wasn't able to find anything online. The only thing I could turn up was user comments on articles referencing a transmission line between the lakes, but nothing concrete.

What is the best choice for internet in Dawson Ranch?
quote:You must live in a different section. TW not currently available where I am. I've heard that they are 60-90 days out. I have seen TWC folks poking around so I believe they will get there sometime.
I have time Warner. Not really another option currently
