There are three builders in the neighborhood that I know of: Carothers, Dusek, and Smalley.

There are a few Stillwater homes sprinkled in and I saw a Jim Holcomb house on Twin Ridge

Also, time warner is on the way!

Have you heard when Time Warner will be up and running. I saw them digging the ditches for the lines. We close in a month. Sure would be nice if its already up and running.

I bet a month will be enough time. It's been hell using our phones as hot spots and having to lay off the netflix the past 5 weeks.

I lived off of S Fork Cir. (my house backed up to Escalera). Moved in June of 13, moved out March of 14.

We did not have high speed internet when I moved in and when we moved out as well. We did the satellite internet (which sucked).

I think our house in about 1.5 years will have had 3 owners.

We bought ours from the builder, then sold and the people that bought ours bought a house in the section closer to Dunn's Canyon.

Any update on the progress of Time Warner? We are moving in 10 days. Sure hope TW is ready to go when we move.

The Public Works Director for the City of Belton told me that Time Warner's target date for completion of service installation is June 2015. Better late than never.

If you don't have access to DSL or TWC cable, you're pretty much SOL

Your mobile provider or satellite provider are pretty much it

I think these options would be better than satellite. Their coverage maps appear to cover the DR area.

http://www.westernbroadband.com/

We are waiting for TW, however.

Never heard of those. Could be an option

What are their speeds, and are they unlimited data plans?

Western Broadband claimed Respectable speeds (maybe 10mbps?). Their data plans we essentially $1 per gb so the $50 plan was 50 gb, $75 for 75, etc. so not unlimited, but better than most mobile plans.

I think installation was 99 bucks and contract was 1 year.

I'm a TW cable guy. Just my luck. I'll move in 3 months before TW is connected. I'm sure DISH or Direct will make me sign a year contract.

Just my opinion .....

DirecTV has a superior picture to TW. I haven't compared the channel lineup, but you get plenty with DirecTV, with lots of extras available if you want them

I just think they have a superior product.

IMO, DirecTV for tv, TW for cable is the way to go ...

Here's the latest regarding Time Warner from the HOA Facebook page:

They are currently installing
They updated the front and are on SouthFork /Tejon /esclara area now as phase 1
Phase 2 is ten bits - purple sage
Phase 3 DeLeon
No dates ever given ..
The ground guy told my mom mid March for us (south fork/ phase 1) but then a 2 week rain delay ..
The city mgmr said live by July 1st for all entire subdivision totally done & out ., guaranteed date but that includes rain and other delays.
Jared Bryan and others said they thought it would be sooner than July.
My best guess after asking the ground mgmr is 1-3 Mths ..
(1 mth phase 1.. So on .. 3 mths total finished).. Again that's a guess after seeing the marked plat plan and speaking to the ground mgmr.
They never (unfortunately) have given anyone a date...to my knowledge..

Thanks for the update. We close on our new house on Wildcatter Friday. I've already signed up with Direct, but they do not have any bundle packages for Internet. We've decided to just use our phones for Internet, until TW is finished, then we'll use them for Internet.
