1) the location 2) the problems they had initially with service and quality. Especially in Waco, if you don't make a good first impression, you are screwed.
i tried that place one time about 2 months after it opened and the crowd had died down. food was awful, and that was all it took for me to never go back.
I agree that it is not in a good location, but the reason it closed down was because the food was terrible. Surprised they lasted as long as they did. Another restaurant could be successful at that location.
We had take out once because we had a gift card and everything we had was OK but not spectacular. Daughter and I went inside once at lunch and had the beer cheese dip with soft pretzels...those were good enough to make me sad about but nothing else was. No crowd, seemingly enough wait-staff but still terrible service and a long time for two sandwiches.
