Always hate to see it, but how could anyone with half a brain think that location would work?

Not surprised after seeing:

1) the location
2) the problems they had initially with service and quality. Especially in Waco, if you don't make a good first impression, you are screwed.

Haven't been back to Waco in 18 months or so. What was the street address? Or approximate location?

It was at Hwy 6-Loop 340 & I-35, tucked into the corner in front of the new Hillcrest/Baylor S&W.

I ate there a year ago, everyone in the group of 6 agreed that the food sucked, everyone ordered something different.

I did try the wings, I think licking the kitchen floor in Hooters would have been better, and Hooters' food isn't anything special.

What's so bad about the location? Chuy's doesn't seem to have a problem.

Seems Waco may be getting a cheese cake factory. Kcen is saying wacofork.com saw ads on monster.com for hiring part & full time employees.

Quaker Steak is harder to get to than Chuy's....at least it seems that way.

i tried that place one time about 2 months after it opened and the crowd had died down. food was awful, and that was all it took for me to never go back.

I agree that it is not in a good location, but the reason it closed down was because the food was terrible. Surprised they lasted as long as they did. Another restaurant could be successful at that location.

We had take out once because we had a gift card and everything we had was OK but not spectacular. Daughter and I went inside once at lunch and had the beer cheese dip with soft pretzels...those were good enough to make me sad about but nothing else was. No crowd, seemingly enough wait-staff but still terrible service and a long time for two sandwiches.

Cheap beer and bar jars about the only thing it had going for it
