I know its trash, but after seeing the Friday sports page, I emailed the editor and canceled. Two worthless high school games on the front along with the 2014 baylor women vball team review.....enough. Hopefully others will follow. He needs to realized there are a number of ags in Waco

Good job. I follow Bill Flores on Facebook and he wished the bares good luck this season. I had puke in my mouth, but what else should I expect from him. He's OUR representative, not just an Aggie.

Lol. I said same thing to wife Friday am. Wanted to pick up a paper to put on lil ATM's baby book and saw nothing on the trib frot pages, grabbed the Dallas morning snooze and Ags were above the fold in color.

Glad I have never subscribed to the trib trash!

Father in law gets it, but we are not renewing it.

I sent in several articles about the 4H Shooting Sports in Falls County (my daughter was on the team that went to Nationals and won, and several kids won their events at the State Match) and they NEVER published anything. They didn't have to even do anything except cut and paste. I even sent the most generic pictures I could that didn't have guns in it, just the pictures of the kids holding their awards!

The paper in Marlin and Rosebud printed the articles I sent to them WORD FOR WORD!

I cancelled during all the SEC switchover deal whenever someone like Werner wrote a seething article against A&M....Pretty much said the same thing....they need to realize their audience.

I can almost give the Trib a little slack for slighting the ags since they are the home time of bayLOL. But they act as if A&M doesn't even exist and they have to know there are probably more Aggies in Waco than bu alums. Did write a letter to the editor though when the only mention of 9/11 was an advertisement from Bellmead Funeral Home and a syndicated letter on the comic page. The trib chose to talk about a teen whose doesn't cut her hair. Front page news there folks.

The trib is garbage. My parents get it and I noticed one time the were doing preseason something or maybe posting of scores and they had highlighted all the texas teams (baylol, t.u., tech, tcu) but no mention of A&M. It wasn't a Big 12 thing but a national thing and A&M was just another team in the rankings. My grandfather put in 30+ years there and retired from there a while ago, but now I have no affiliation and glad I don't waste money on that subscription.

Oh and Werner is the worst of all of the sports writers.

In regards to sending the Trib anything of interest positive about Falls County, forget it. They're only interested in the the bad stories. In their defense, there's lots of bad things to report in Marlin. I can attest, I grew up there.
