I think Temple is in control of that 5A district, and will win out

I also think Belton has to go 3-1 the rest of the season to have a shot at the playoffs. With a projected loss at Midway, Belton essentially has to sweep the 3 Killeen ISD schools remaining on their schedule

I don't see Belton doing that. But I don't know anything about their programs.

Well, Belton is, to put it gently, not good

As for those Killeen schools, I don't know. I think Harker heights is probably the best of the 3, and is probably better than Belton. Maybe a lot better

Killeen and Ellison are probably not as good as Heights, but if either of those teams has a back that can run at least a 4.7, Belton is in trouble

Add to it the best defensive player on Belton's team is playing hurt

I don't think Belton will make it, but who knows

Maybe they'll pull it together
