. The family and I are considering a move 39 miles south on 35 to the Temple/belton area. A new opportunity/career for myself that could possibly allow Mrs. SSA to stay home with kiddos in about 6mo, instead of 3 yrs at current career in waco.

We currently use a small Christian daycare for Lil' ATM, and would like something similar in temple/belton.

Any good recommendations?

Currently we pay $150/week and would like to stay in that range.

My 4 year old attends A+ Learning Academy. Its on W Adams in Temple, but its mostly Belton kids that go there. I think we pay about $250 every two weeks. By the way, when the time comes, contact me and I can help you find a house. Sorry, for the shameless plug!

We are originally from area but been in waco for about 12 years.

Surely not. Maybe you are thinking about Immanuel baptist?

Pretty sure Emmanuel Baptist I'd up and running and Immanuel Lutheran shut their day care down.

First Christian in Temple has a daycare and took in many of the kids from the Lutheran school when it shut down. It is a wonderful place and Christ centered. They don't have a separate listing in the phone book but call the church office or go over to visit during a week day.

Well that makes me sad.

We had a bad experience at First Christian, I wouldn't recommend it.

A+ is a good place.

First Church Preschool is located at First Christian Church in Temple. The Preschool operates as an Outreach Mission of FCC and is a state regulated facility serving infants through Pre-K. We have cribs for our babies (just like home) and strive to provide high quality care for all children and their families. We invite anyone to come by and visit the church and preschool, and meet our staff. We have many Aggie families who would be happy to provide a referral.
