I have an Aunt in the Temple area who will propably need housing assistance very soon. My mom has helped her with a lot of things in the past, but my mom really isn't able to make trips from her home in Waco now, and my wife and I are going to help her out on this.

I've never made any application for assistance before. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I don't know if the apartment complex she lives in is subsidized but I'm pretty sure they'd take Section 8. Is there an online app? In person best?

Does she need monetary assistance or does she need personal (home health type) assistance?
