4 players ejected, 2 from each team, including belton star running back, which was when Belton's major implosion began

The belton rb was responding to the other kid, but you have to keep your cool

Anyway, just a huge meltdown, most of which came when leading 21-7 in the 4th quarter in a game that Belton should never have lost:
- fumble into CP's end zone
- rb ejected
- deep snap over the punters head that resulted in a stoney point td (belton kid should have kicked it out of the back of the end zone for a safety. Instead, td next play
- gave up 40 yard gain on 4th down that resulted in the game winning field goal
- 2 bad punts that gave SP great field position, including a 19 yard punt that set SP up for the game winning drive
- gave up another 4th and long for the other SP td

And I'm probably leaving a couple out

The good news is the team is very competetive against teams that creamed them last year

Defense is much improved

I think they will be fine in district as long as Mansell and Peoples stay healthy.

You left out the refs gave the game to SP, at least that's one of the comments to her post. Lol.

On a silver platter

The biggest ref issues werE not throwing a personal foul flag on the Stony Point player on the play before the play where peoples got ejected, and the other was a very, very questionable spot that gave Stony Point a first down in the fourth quarter.

Those were the glaring calls against Belton. However, Belton benefited from a ticky tack offensive pass interference call in the second quarter that wiped out a first down and likely Stony Point score, and Belton also got away with a flagrant pass interference in the second quarter.

Overall, I would say the crew called a pretty crappy game. But the outcome of the game was decided by beltons complete meltdown, not by the refs

They've got a lot of things to fix, & I think they can do it. Again, I think they will be fine in district. Even Midway and cove are down

No. His mother passed away. Some of that property he's selling was hers. He has a reserve. If it sells, great if not, he's fine with that. I think he's just ready to retire.

He has several pieces going to auction on the 26th. It's a real estate auction. The auctioneer has a broker for his real estate sales. The fikes sold their Lakewood ranch house that way. Much better, IMO.
