I'm considering dropping AT&T cellular service. Anyone use T-Mobile in the Temple-Belton-Salado area that can say it is good or bad?

I have T-Mobile and good service in Temple. Really depends on far out of the city you live. One cool thing T-Mobile offers is a personal cell tower. It is free (with $25 deposit), connects to your home's internet and provides LTE throughout your entire home.

They also offer a free 7-day test drive to try the service. That's probably your best bet to make sure it works where you need it. I made the switch from AT&T a year ago and have no regrets. We're saving money and don't have to put up with ridiculous fees and poor customer service from AT&T.

I live out on 2305 and Verizon has the consistent best signal. I have relatives who visit with other carriers and have trouble getting strong signal so it does depend on where you live and where you work. In the town where I teach, a few carriers simply don't work at all. I like the idea of a free trial to see.

This is exactly how I feel about AT&T. I used to have Verizon service thru my employer and it was by far my favorite between AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon. However, Verizon is expensive. I will most likely give T-Mobile a test drive.
