I have a very tall cypress that has grown right next to a house in temple. I am worried it will damage the roof and brick if cut by an inexperienced person (me). Any suggestions for someone who is good and might have insurance to cover an accident?

If you have a reputable lawn service that trims trees, they will have the insurance necessary to complete the job without putting you in a bad position if something goes wrong.

absolutely make sure they have insurance and are bonded. if they're not and take out your house. it's on your dime. if they take out a powerline, it's on your dime.

ask for papers.
