Per the title, anyone recommend, have references on a good custom home architect/designer?
Not looking for a general contractor at this stage, unless they do design also.

We used Steve Sorrells and were happy every step of the way....Steve does the design and they do the build.

Fantastic folks too. The day after the explosion in West (April 2013), Steve called me to ask if there was anything they could do....I said yes, help rebuild my parents' home (they had lost it in the explosion). They did just that. And my parents are in a nice, beautiful new home that was designed to their liking much like their old home thanks to Steve and his staff. They also helped my aunt design and rebuild her home after the explosion. I could really not recommend them any higher. Just so easy to work with.

Drew ours up myself and then builder took them to a draftsman in Temple over behind Century 21 and he did the blueprints. Much cheaper and we were 100% in on the design phase.
