I just dropped off some paperwork to my commercial insurance agent. Sign outside said mask required. None of the folks working in the office were wearing masks. My personal insurance agent got the covid from a girl that works in her office. The whole staff did except the 70 something year old secretary.

I've noticed that here in Waco in a few of the small businesses....there's a sign on the door that say "masks required," and then no one working in the business is wearing masks. I see where the Waco PD has agreed to help with enforcement. Uh huh.

Just a heads up to all the Ctx folks.

All blood donations at Carter BloodCare Dr being tested for COVID antibodies now, probably until the end of the year.

'murica.

i'm not afraid of the virus at all, but if wearing a mask helps the people making minimum wage stocking produce at HEB feel better about coming to work, it's a small gesture of respect that i'm very happy to endure.

our culture is so soft--acting like going without haircuts or wearing a mask is suffering.

i will concede some of the guidelines are ridiculous overreach. splitting my family of seven between two vehicles at graduation, or at two tables at a restaurant-- why? because you decided it "looked safer."

I'm not wearing a mask for a virus with a 99.6% survival rate just to appease some scared people. If they're scared, then stay home. I refuse to add to public hysteria by wearing a mask.

Those stockers are making more than minimum wage. And they're backs are usually to me as I pass by. If I feel it's too crowded, I'll go another way but I did that before all this panic.

Our culture is soft because all the kids who received participation trophies are now healthy young adults stirring the pot on this virus.

I struggle a bit with this. I'm a bit of %#^* the government type of guy in general and have been pretty angry at times during all this... but I also believe in being a good citizen. More of my anger is directed at people who say "you can't go to work, but I'm still going to collect a paycheck from taxpayers." But that's more of a F16 topic.

It's been a bit of a personal struggle, but as annoying as it is, wearing a mask isn't infringing on my rights or religious liberties. Instead of getting too mad about it I'll just wear a mask out of respect for others. I don't want to but the Bible is clear (as far as my interpretation) for what I'm supposed to do as a citizen. Not faulting people who feel differently, it's just my conviction.

Fair enough. I certainly dont look down on those that do wear a mask, or the businesses that choose to enforce it.

I still refuse to participate unless I absolutely have to. Which has happened twice.

I don't fault people either way. im personally on the "masks are overrated" train, but not a hill I'm going to die on.

I've had to wear a mask while working for some 9 hour days in south Texas and El Paso in June. Just me and one person in network closets. I've probably had it on my face more outside of Bell County than in It.

I wear a mask everywhere I go now....don't have a problem with it. I do have a problem with the local governments telling everyone they have to do it and then selectively enforcing it. That's the biggest thing. We've been being careful for 3+ months now....everything has been fine. And now we get told that we are the problem. Something doesn't add up here.

Agreed. Walmart, BLM protests, and Liquor stores are ok and essential. Just wear masks.

Church, political rallies, and protests against SAH orders are a no go.

I'm not saying I agree with the protests against SAH or political rallies, or am against WalMart, Liquor stores (prog nightmare knows I'm not,) or BLM protests. We live in the best time to still connect with our church.

The selective enforcement is just annoying to say the least. Combine that with masks don't work. Masks do work. It's transmissible by asymptomatic. Now it's not.

The lack of consistent messaging just makes it hard to trust what we're told.

We have been going to church the last few weeks....have been taking an overabundance of caution. I feel very safe there to be honest. Masks required, distancing, etc.

As long as they dont cancel baseball I could care less.

I will simply not visit any stores until it expires. Online grocery shopping it is.

Actually, since it doesnt start until Monday, I will stock up Sunday at the store so I don't have to go back for two weeks.

I am sure we will be required in Real Estate, but I doubt anyone is looking.

I'll find out soon. I had read masks weren't required for outdoor workouts but I'm not sure what you'd consider my gym. Huge metal building with all roll up doors open. This is so fing stupid and if I have to wear a mask, I'll not be training for a couple of weeks. I sweat ridiculously.

I'll wait for T3. If it was $15/mo, I'd join it as well but not for $30/mo.

He really is. He did my daughter's S&C after she broke her tibia 3 years ago and I haven't stopped going. But I'm sure for you it was a haul. I didn't realize $27 per month was high. O well. I'll stay loyal as long as I can.
