I have also never bought a truck in my life that I had similar regrets. As such, I cannot fathom how one would regret a Z06, or Shelby, or ANYTHING that is faster than the base model.

Maturity and ability would play a large role in what's appropriate. I don't know much about the traction and stability control in these cars, so it might not matter because the car will save you from yourself.
