Anyone have experience/knowledge? Here's Michelin's brochure

The Agilis is a commercial tire, built a little stronger. Price is near identical. Supposedly lasts longer under load, but shorter than the LTX when lightly loaded. Also no mileage guarantee, as it is commercial.

Truck in question is mainly used for towing 30 foot 5th wheel RV, weighing around 10,000 pounds.

Get the LTX for its warranty, I would think. Rolled those on my Tahoe for years and always enjoyed them. Got 60k+ out of them.

I have the Agilis on my F250. I occasionally tow a 35 ft. 5th wheel. No problems so far and I don't know how many miles I have on them.

My wife has Agilis on her expedition as well. No Idea why. It's what our local tire shop recommended.

Went with Agilis, decided I'd trade better loaded performance for warranty. Will report in a year or two

Defender LTX on my 2006 Tahoe. Great tire and I swear it will take at least 100,000 miles to wear them out.

What's the verdict on these? Looking at a set for the cummins, have always preferred the defenders but looks like they are phasing them out

Been happy with them. To be fair, since this is only the RV puller, and doesn't get much other use, I haven't put lots of miles. I'll try to look at that pickup tomorrow, see what the wear pattern is and the miles
