Kawasaki just announced the 2026 KLE 500 today. It is on their website now. The specs look pretty good.

Wow that looks good and I like the v twin engine. KLRs are heavy and slow but basic and just go.

I have a '23 S model KLR and I like it, but this looks like it could be my next bike. The engine is actually a parallel twin like the one in the Ninja 500.

Ah even better. I've 4 KLRs years ago with lots of cool trips, wonder how the 500 compares loaded down on the highway.

The horsepower is probably going to be close to 50 at the peak. Probably not quite as much torque but it's a very different engine.
