07 suburban nav/radio. Installed new battery would not start. Looked on internet said to reset body control module by disconnecting battery placing pos/neg cables together for 30 seconds. Reconnected battery all good except no radio/nav displays theft lock. Anybody know what to do now?

You may need to talk to the dealer and find out if your radio has an anti theft code. Must enter the code after a battery change.

Newer cars no longer have that.

This happened to us last night in my son's Honda.

Look in your manual to see if there is a code. Ours was inside the back cover.
