70's Mini trucks are too cool, and there's hardly any of them left. Rust ate the ones that Cash for Clunkers didn't get.

Build up the chassis and frame, then drop the cab over a cage.

The frame and bottom of the donor truck is often too rotted to reuse, but it's great as a skin.

I was driving from Orla, TX up to Carlsbad, NM two weeks ago and saw three pairs of caravan pre-Tacoma Toyota trucks driving south down 285. It's possible they were headed for Mexico but considering the truck in tow matched the truck in front on all three it seemed like someone happened upon a collection and pounced.
