Back in September '23 I bought my '23 GMC Canyon ATx4 with this trip in mind, and I was able to make the trip to Durango/Silverton/Ouray this past week and take the truck over the Alpine Loop. Have to say that the truck did the trail with ease, even going through some of the "hard" technical trails without issue. One trip and I am absolutely hooked! Cant wait to go back and hit more trails.

Was up there all last week as well. Those new Canyons look good.

Looks great! How's the legroom in the backseat?

Just big enough for my kids...lol

Seriously though, its probably a bit small for grown adults. At least for a long ride. My kids are still young and short enough that its not squeezing them into it.

That's awesome. I was just there last week and did the loop with a Canam defender. I think I'd be nervous on a few sections in pickup especially coming from Animas Forks to Engineer pass.
