Ok, these are awesome, but I cannot, for the life of me, get a good read on their size. Is this like an explorer, 4-runner? Or is this like a full size Land Cruiser, Expedition or Tahoe?

More of an Explorer than an Expedition. GX550 wheelbase is 7" shorter than an Explorer.

For the same price you can get a 2019/2020 LX570 and it's a far superior vehicle. Or a 2018-2020 Land Cruiser with low miles.

Probably less $ actually.

Yes. It is the same engine. Practically identical.

Now even hybrids ( some tundras and sequoias) are even having this issue.

Different engine. It's a variation of the recalled engine. Not involved in recall. It's a 3.4 L TT V6. Even if it is involved, Toyota replacing engines on the affected Tundras and LX600s.

We just got an Overtrail and the engine is really nice. We also have a GX460 and the differences are really apparent. Each has their own virtues.

Love the pearl white.

Ugh I'm torn. I like the Premium+ price (okay I guess...) but wife would like the running boards that pop out and full moonroof.

Sighhhh.... she's not going to like being told to look at a platinum Highlander.
