i commonly see interior trim issues, water pump, throttle body, and of course oil consumption.

So probably a good deal on a used one?

Audi is just a gussified VW. My wife has loved hers, longest she's ever kept a car. I do recommend factoring in the cost of an extended/3rd party warranty if you are buying used though. Q5's are everywhere, though I am not a fan of their price point for a 2.0L 4-cylinder.
