16yo who doesn't know what "yield" means totaled my car. Gotta get into something new relatively quickly.

-Totaled car is a Lexus RX350, which I hated, bc it was such a "soccer mom" car, but got a good deal.

-Hauling a couple of kids around sometimes, but not often, and not in a 3rd row need.

-Owned multiple Jeeps, loved them until they started having problems, then hated them for the trash that they are.

What's the bells and whistles SUV, looks and feels sporty, but is sooner in the car wash than it is off road, answer?

It always helps to be given a target price range

If no third row is needed, GV70 with the 3.5L.

It's a Macan S without the pretension or price tag.

On a recent trip we rented a ford explorer and drove it 500 plus miles. Really liked it and the seats were as comfortable as my F150.
The explorer was much more comfortable and had lots more leg room than my wife's 2023 gx 460. Really impressed with it overall.

Get whatever used LX570 fits your price range and don't think about how it's twice as expensive as any other comparable year SUV. It's worth it.

This would be quite an adjustment coming from a Lexus. Way louder and worse ride.

I don't think the RX350's are known for being that quiet despite the Lexus reputation.

Definitely a soft top Bronco will be much louder and I think even the hard top has some insulating options.

i would be looking at 4runners and GX460s.

unless you're serious about the sporty part (those two are anything but that), then i'd be looking at macans or cayennes/Q8s if you want something a little bigger.

My experience driving both soft and hard tops is that you really have to talk loudly at highway speeds. But the ones I drove had the big tire option. Not a great highway driving experience IMO. Turo rentals.

This ended up in a Bronco Outer Banks.

I'll miss my ventilated cooling seats, but at $30K flat, the accountant in me couldn't justify the GX I preferred,

Confusing thread is confusing. Thread started with how much OP hated soccer mom cars but they wanted a car a soccer mom would drive. Specifically wanted bells and whistles and a car more comfortable in a car wash than the local off road park. Ended up with a Bronco. Now we just need confirmation that they got the optional lockers and 35" mud tires.

Kidding OP. Glad you got something you like!
