Starting the search for a new vehicle for my wife to upgrade her current vehicle with a new baby on the way. Her one ask is to have captain chairs.

Recommendations please.

Will be selling her 2015 Tahoe LT with 130k miles

If you can wait 2025 will have all new full size SUVs

The following models will be all new for the 25 model year

Expedition
Navigator
Tahoe
Yukon
Armada
QX80

They all look amazing. They're like a rennisance of full sized SUVs coming and I'm all for it. I'll be looking to trade my 22 Expedition Timberline for the new armada Pro-4x assuming it's as good in person as on paper

So wait just a few months. If you want another Tahoe great! See the new one, and if you like the 2024 you can probably get a great discount on it once the refresh hits dealer lots

We hate our Expedition so I'd stay away from that. Cam Phazers ($3000) and transmission ($3000) have both gone out.

Lemons are across the board. We love our expedition and my wife had the same captains chair request. I didn't think it was a big deal, but after two car seats, now I see why!

We had some friends "warn" us of an issue with an Expedition. We went ahead and bought a 2020 with the quad chairs and have loved it. It's the first time she's driven an SUV of that size. Perfect with our 5 and 7 yo kids, I like driving it too when needed.

Upgraded in size from our 2018 highlander, which was a great car at the time with Captain's chairs when the kids were a little smaller, and my wife still didn't want something as big as the Expedition.

I have wanted autotrader to add captain chairs to the hfeatures list for a long time. It sucks having to luck at the interior pictures to see if they have captains chairs

Also dodge Durango. Get the rt with the v8 hemi. It's a fun family car to drive. I captain chairs are an option

We love both of our Expeditions. Never a problem with either. Have captains chairs, King Ranch trim level.

My mom had one for many years.... she sold it and God a maximum off my sister..... when tree fell on her car this year, she went back to the sienna even though it's just her and Dad now at the house.

Absolutely loves that vehicle

I can see that if you're coming from a full size suv or truck. To me, the ride is much higher than the sedan I traded in for it, and the Odyssey we have. Sounds like the midsize crossover class isn't for you.
