Can you buy a new truck without all the infotainment electronic stuff?

My dad has a 17 year old truck that keeps having issues, but if he got a new truck he would be lost with all the touch screen this and that.

TIA

Most of your Work Truck packages are very stripped down, but because of DOT requirements, there are certain features that must come with new trucks hitting the market.

Not many you can find but they do have a lot of features that are required, hands free and such. We just got some Fords in and the new "work" trucks have power windows and a large screen in them. They are running between $38k-$40k depends on what they have.

Since 2018, every vehicle has been required to have a backup camera, and thus a screen. As the cost of labor has gone up, it's better for manufacturers to develop one software package to control all F150s for example, and just tick menus off and on depending on which options a vehicle has. If you want to avoid the tech, finding a base vehicle from before 2018 is about your only option..

Someone is selling the old V8 Tundra on the classifieds board that would check a lot of the boxes.
