Any modern half ton will meet your specs pretty comfortably. I'd just pick based on comfort, reliability, preferred looks, etc.
Not sure these two bolded words go together......

This guy seems to have a large audience and thinks Ford in particular is going to have some 'screaming' deals on their pickups now/moving forward.

Take it or leave it, I think a lot of 2024's are sitting around, not just Fords.

Nothing he is claiming has translated to lower prices. An advertised $4k-$5k off of sticker for most Ford models doesn't exactly scream "wholesale panic giveaway!!!!!!"

I agree. Supply has expanded but demand hasn't though…and I think it's a matter of time, broadly.

When the 2025's really start piling up on top of 2024's is when it will get interesting, around late Dec-Jan is my swag, but I disclaim any expertise in this area. We haven't seen inventories like this since Covid.

We were out of town last weekend and used a new app called Turo. Like VRBO for cars. Wife drives a pallisade, so we found someone on the app with a 2024 pallisade. It was waiting for us at the airport. Lockbox on the window. No waiting. No fuss. Can pick out whatever vehicle you like.
We have used Turo for at least 5 years. Great way to rent a car, truck or SUV and almost always much cheaper than going to a regular rental car company. You are basically renting someone's personal car.
So the greatest civilization is one where all citizens are equally armed and can only be persuaded, never forced. It removes force from the equation... and that's why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

Time for massive rebates on top of promotional interest rates. If I see a good enough deal, I might buy.

Forgive me for being a bit of a novice

I've been looking at replacing my old Ram with a new Tundra, and yes I know they've been getting dragged for the engine problems but my understanding is that it was only affecting the models through '23 and that the 24's weren't affected. I am looking at a low mile '24 currently

Also good to see the positive reports on the Titans. Thought about that as well but I've had Toyotas in the past and been very pleased. Wife has bought a Maxima and a Murano as her last two cars and been very happy with both.

Opinions? Advice?

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I didn't want to start a new one. I am in the same boat. My 2016 Tundra is getting long in the tooth and I need to find something to replace it. It's been a great truck, but I am hearing so many negative things on the new ones. I have always been so anti Ram, but it seems to get so many positive articles now. Any changes in thoughts the last few months? I was leaning Ford or Ram. I really don't need an RHO, but I can get one for not much more than a regular FX4 Ford.
