Tire Pressure Sensor Freakout

This has me perplexed. The last 4 times I have gone toward Huntsville on Hwy 30, as I leave Carlos and drop into the Gibbons Creek bottom, my dash display lights up with Tire Pressure Monitor Disabled and a warning bell rings a few times. My left front tire display goes to 2 dashes (no pressure) with the other 3 tires normal pressure.
It's not a temperature thing as the ambient temp has varied 20 degrees or so. My tire pressure is good.
There is a road crew clearing the right of way there at this time with heavy equipment.
Is there a possibility that a electromagnetic wave or the like is in that area which is disabling my sensor? It always resets after returning to Bryan. 10 year old 3/4 ton Ram.

10 years old your TPMS sensor batteries are probably going out.

This. Most TPMS sensors are only rated for a 5 year battery life but typically last longer. At 10 years, they're living on borrowed time. Its best to change them all out at once, including the spare if it has one.

Why would it do it in the exact same spot every time?

Could be some kind of electronic interference from any number of things, or could be related to drive time.

Not sure. Go to Discount Tire and I'm pretty sure their tool can determine battery life. They'll offer to replace for ~$70 each. However, you can get a whole set for that on amazon. Then DT will charge $20 each to install.

I drive through there pretty frequently and never experienced any weirdness like that. Weird.

I hate TPMS sensors. They are so annoying. I had one in my Tacoma forever and just ignored it. Checked the tire pressure each time I gassed up.
I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.

My Tundra's has been malfunctioning since a couple hundred thousand miles ago. Back in the good old days our TPMS was looking at the tires before you drove and add air to the ones that needed it.

On a lot of the Toyotas, the spare tire has TPMS and will set off the sensor. Most people get annoyed and never connect those dots it's actually working but not on the tires on the pavement.

I went ahead and took my truck into the shop I trust and have used for 30 years and had the sensors serviced and reset. Went to Huntsville y'day and sure enough the same thing happened dropping down into the
Gibbons Creek drainage. Strange stuff.

How do TPMS sensors get "serviced"? They can be replaced or reset but AFAIK there are no "serviceable" parts.

A few months ago I found out one bad sensor can cause all 4 to show as faulty. Took my wife's SUV to DT in Lufkin for two new tires. I usually go to the location in Livingston but Lufkin was the closest store with the tires needed that day. When the service tech brought the vehicle out when it was ready, she told me all 4 TPMS had "failed". I'm like really? 4 simultaneous failures? She says yeah, sometimes it happens. I called the Livingston store on my way back and asked about that issue. He said it's possible but unlikely. Said usually one goes out and takes down the system. Took the vehicle there and he determined that was the case. Her Acadia is 2017 model so I went ahead and had them all replaced.

"Serviced" was my interpretation. Just looked at the invoice and it states "Reset TPMS sensors"
