I just got off the phone with the Ford dealership and they were also able to confirm it as a complete CP4 failure. They also said that it will be fully covered under warranty. Thank goodness, I really didn't want to have to pay $13k to get it fixed.

Sometime in the Spring, once things warm up and it doesn't get dark at 5:30, I'm going to get the DCR pump and install it myself. There are plenty of youtube videos on it and after reading some forums, it looks like it's going to be about a 12hr job and it'll be a good excuse to get some new tools. Topside creeper, I'm looking at you.

The dealership called me earlier and told me that my pickup is ready to be picked up. That was way faster than I thought it would be.

That's awesome. Was this covered under the 5/100 powertrain warranty?
