We were in a rental Mercedes passenger van in Scotland this August for a golf outing. I drove most of the way and quite frankly, I don't like driving on the wrong side.
Our drive from Highlands back down to Edinburgh (150miles) was in the evening to night with headlights on a very tight two lane hwy.
First oncoming car high beam flashed us.. So we thought oh there must be a cop. Then another flashed us so I flashed back..then another.. Another.. And every single car for 3 hours. We were like wtf.. And kinda stressed and pissed off yelling these ****ing Scots, for 3 hours.
Next day on a whim we decided to see if our headlights were set high. We'll yeah. So we pop the hood and started to look for an adjuster. None.
After a while we thought maybe inside???
WELL H E L L! There's a turn dial headlight height adjuster next to the headlight switch. I've never have seen such a thing.
Well... To you good Scots I blinded and there were a lot, I am truly very sorry.
