Looks like my 2018 F150 is being declared totaled so I'll be on market for a 'new' truck. Anything to be on lookout for in this year range? Looking for 2018-2020 with less than 80k miles and likely Lariat trim as that's what I had. Also had the 5.0 V8, but open to the 3.5 V6 if feedback is those have stood up okay.

Any advice or leads appreciated! Only bought two cars and those were new so thanks in advance for your input!

Oil consumption and transmission issues.

2017 is the year to go after (with 5.0).

Would you consider XLT 302A and the 2.7?

21 F150 XLT 302A with the 3.5 is good to me. I get around 18 mpg combined w/ highway speeds "allegedly" above the speed limit. 85k miles and counting.

Our Lease Gaugers ride in the F150's w/ the 2.7. We've got 1 5.0 in the fleet and its a fuel hog with the stop & go of a lease hand. It'll be the first out the door. but all 100k right now with nothing but oil changes.

Get the high end XLT trim. You'll save vs. a Lariat and have most of all the same features.

I have a 2016 XLT 5.0 FX4 with only 105-ish that I *might* be willing to part with. Just not doing as many truck things as I thought I would be. I've upgraded it to leather. Has the 35 gallon tank.

Appreciate all of the feedback and replies to date. For those offering up a vehicle of their own, I'm not interested at this time.

On to my next question…how subjective is the 'minor' v 'moderate' category of repairs in a Carfax report? If something shows as minor, should I be overly worried about it?

I tried sending you a message but couldn't figure it out. I'm in the market and would love more info- feel free to send me a message!
