Do any of you put tire sealant in your tires as a preventative? I use it in my mountain bike. Does it damage the tire? My daughter tires seem to lose pressure more than they should and I am thinking this could help.

Thoughts?

Tire shops HATE that goop in tires. If that vehicle spends its life on the road (not a part or full time ranch vehicle) then find the leaks and fix them.

I have UTV's at work that are slimed. Had a leak last February that it just didn't seal (may have been too cold?) so I grabbed the plug kit muttering to myself that I thought these tires had been slimed so we wouldn't have to deal with this... When I pulled the reamer out of the hole, I took a massive blast of goop to the face (FIFY protected). I can see exactly why tire guys hate that stuff.

Find the leaks. Fix the leaks.

Yep - a couple weeks ago, I had to help my brother with a flat tire on his John Deere Gator and I got that slime crap all over me. Not a fan.

Tighten the valve core with a stem tool or needle nose pliers, for shiggles
