Here's the other vehicle. Total loss as well. All air bags in it deployed. My 16 yo daughter was driving the Bronco. Other car had 3 teen boys in it. Everyone walked away. She was making a left turn and had a truck w/ trailer making a right hand turn onto her street from the street she was turning on to. She was giving that trailer too much attention making sure it had room to turn. Didn't take that extra time to ensure she was clear again after truck/trailer cleared her.

Feel like the oncoming car was moving pretty quick on a residential street for that kind of damage. But I guess those awkward angle impacts can do a number on parts. Outcome could've been worse and gave many thanks to God today for all those kiddos walking away.

Where do you guys go to get comps on similar sold vehicles for insurance value? I'm guessing I'll need some to negotiate best value I can get. DFW area for reference.

Since it's their insurance, you just pull comps from dealer sites, auto trader, etc. also make sure you get TT&L too.

Be nice to the adjuster. Be firm but fair if they try to get slick.

When my parents car was declared a total loss last week, insurance pulled comps from 3-4 dealers within 20 miles of their zip, to include Auto Trader. Matched well with the valuation database (CCC) Farmers uses. Got $15k on a 2018 Hyundai Elantra w/ 50,000 miles.
