Second gens got port and direct injection to help with power and address some of the GTDI deposits, and more horsepower. It's a fantastic powertrain. 325hp/400tq. 25+ mpg in the highway.

A very isolated batch of the 2022 had some intake valve issues but it seems to have been addressed.

I've run many of these for my work trucks and they do very well.
