Tundra v8 extended cab 2wd is the answer for kids. The extended cab version has decent rear seat room when it's needed (which is rare), and the short turning radius as surprisingly good.

Every other pickup I have driven lately (Ram 1500, F150, prev. gen. Tundra, GMC Sierra) have better riding suspensions. Otherwise, the Titan is a superior value proposition compared to most other full sized trucks.
