Seeing a whipple on the 5.0 is noteworthy. Seeing them on the Godzilla is well, god mode.

I feel like I've got money burning a hole in my pocket now wanting to put one on my new tremor with the 7.3.

If you plan on towing, I wouldn't

My buddy did it. There was so much torque, the chassis twisted coming off the line.

Not whipple brand, but I've had 6.2L and 5.2L supercharged F150s. No complaints beyond fuel economy.

For the Fords, how does Whipple compare to Rousch?

Maaaaate. We we're doing that a de-cade ago in Straya

Edit: I got confused between Walkinshaw and Whipple. Both start with W.

If you want to pay more for less, but get a few pretty badges then Rousch is for you!

Not an expert on this by any means, but been researching this lately because i have an itch to build a GT, but i think Whipple has the advantage, more than just output, because they work hand in hand with Ford Performance. I know the current Shelby's run whipple, and Hennessey runs whipple.

Jack Rousch is a retired Ford engineer and has been closely tied to Ford for several decades. I did not know that Whipple was the S/C of choice for Ford currently. That was why I initially asked the question. I had read about the Rousch stuff for many years but honestly did not know that much about Whipple.

This is what Ford Performance sells on their site.
https://performanceparts.ford.com/superchargers/

Same for Shelby recent models

Also, read if you get a whipple installed by a Ford Factory technician at a Ford dealer then Ford honors a 3 year/36k mile warranty.

I've never installed a Whipple but I've installed a Vortech and removed a Roush TVS. I have a Mustang with the Vortech, used to have a 2016 F-150 5.0 with a Roush TVS (totaled), and used to own a 2007 Tundra 5.7L with a TRD supercharger that I bought off this board.

I really like supercharged V8s!
