Place to find factory rim for 2017 Ford Expedition?

The way the strange outer edge tire wear pattern on tires seems to keep following one rim no matter where I put it, I am now fairly certain it is very slightly out of spec. I am thinking I can probably get a replacement lightly used one somewhere. Is this an eBay type thing or is there a place that specializes in refurbish and sale of (legally) pulled factory rims online? I only need one.

Hubcap Annie's in austin? Worth a call.

Car-part.com may be able to locate a salvage.

1ags may have one holding up one side of his kitchen table

I used these guys out of Ontario, CA when I needed a new factory rim for my 2001 Grand Cherokee.

Looks like you need to pick the specific rim you need for your 2017 Expy.

Cool. When I worked with those guys out of Ontario was probably 4 years ago during the scamdemic and availability was more of a concern than price.

I found $152 on a website called "wheelsAmerica". Look like probably reselling swap outs maybe.

Once the wear pattern starts, it's hard to correct it.

What pattern are you rotating?
I like to cross to front to the rear and rear straight forward on RWD based applications.

Front to back, sometimes I remember to swap the rear to front side to side.

It is one wheel it seems. The tire on it gets really bad outside wear. The inside will be like 7/32 on the tread, and the centerline pretty good too, but the outside edge tread is nearly gone. All the other tires look like they have ordinary wear. This seems to have happened on previous tire sets, but it didn't occur to me that it could be the wheel/rim.

I would think a tire place would have a way to check the runout or symmetry of a wheel on a good balancing machine.

Any wheel repair place should.

Is it the lacy spoke 18" wheel?

It's the 18" with the straight spoke design.

Yep, just like that. I figure if I can get one cheap enough it might be worth seeing if it fixes the west issue and the triple I seem to have with a bit of vibration that never seems to balance out.

Ordered one from that website. Free shipping from Houston. We'll see what shows up. Worst case I have a nice spare.
