Decided to upgrade Mrs 1ags ride.

Big thanks to titanaggie09 for setting us up at Sewell Cadillac.

Great buying experience and pricing! Marcus at Sewell Cadillac in Houston is also an Aggie! Great to deal with!

22 Max KR 4WD with 40K miles.

I found the previous owner who traded it and he told me it had an extended warranty from Ford, and agreed to transfer it to us to boot!

Had Fabian hook it up already with some darkness….

Catch can and refreshing some of the fluids is up next, but she's in great shape!

Wow! I always thought you just walked onto the Tommy Vaughn lot and picked out what you wanted and they gave it to you in return for the referrals.

I own lots of Ford stock , so another unit on the street is good for me.

They didn't have anything we wanted and I wasn't going to buy new as we have four kiddos that all play sports, so we decided that we would upgrade but not new.

Ford should offer the XL trim to families with rubber floors and vinyl seats for easy clean out. Expedition Black diamond…..

I think it's more of a KR/XL hybrid. Amenities in the front seats and then vinyl in the back seats you can hose down.

OP- Any concerns with the CDF drum in the MY 22? Or are is the extended warranty enough peace of mind for you?

ETA- nice looking ride. I have a contract working on a MY 23 Navigator but wondering if the savings of going for a 22 instead is worth it.

The CDF drum was corrected October 22. We are before that but I don't really care. Our 18 was flawless with 125K due to regular fluid changes and lubegard platinum. These 10 speeds need 30K fluid changes.

Also 150K mile ESP puts my mind at ease.

I feel like getting 2 sets of keys with a used vehicle is a lottery win, much less an extended warranty

I'm literally posting from a plane, flying to Virginia to get an Xterra for my son - it's got 2 sets of keys!

I usually negotiate that in when I buy used.

So, you think I should change the transmission fluid in the 2022 at 53k? I always thought the guide was don't open the transmission up unless absolutely necessary?

Does this void the factory warranty? First I have heard of these. Wife 2024 KR expedition only has 6k on it . I'm assuming they are easy to install.

Also where did you mount it ?

Pretty easy to install on expedition and f-150. I have one on both. The one on my 2022 doesn't catch a whole lot compared to my 2014 but it still keeps some nasty ovaltine out of the engine.

Regarding the warranty - I have never heard of it voiding any sort of warranty and would have a hard time imagining how anyone could make an argument that it should. Not an expert though and didn't stay at Holiday Inn Express last night.

Ford even sells them in their racing catalog. I doubt they would. I've taken mine in and they have said nothing.

I mounted on the bracket around my brake fluid reservoir.
