Need advice on which offer is better, 2 offers from competing dealerships in Humble, TX:

2022 Toyota RAV4 gas LE @ 39K miles (personal use in Brownsville, good maintenance record) = OTD $28884

2024 Toyota RAV4 gas XLE @ 35.6K miles (rental, no recorded maintenance on Carfax) = OTD $30500

This is the make and model and white color "requested" with $30K budget....I will pay the $500 for '24 out of pocket just to make the receipt look right for my 89 father...smh

My great uncle drove himself to the DMV office in Oregon and renewed his license on his 100th birthday. Drove for a few more years afterwards until he had a minor fender bender in a roundabout and then hung up his keys. Survived the Bataan Death March and drove a Toyota Land Cruiser when we visited him in the '80s (but he never at rice again).
