I'm getting a new company vehicle soon. It's a 2025 F150 XLT 4x4 super crew with 5.0 v8. Does this model come standard with LED headlights? Seeing conflicting info online.

Depends on the package 300/301/302/303.

300A is a base fleet model and I think that's even LED reflector now. .

303 with black appearance i think gets the LED projectors.

Thanks guys. I'm not sure what package they order. We've always had Chevy so this will be my first f150.

Another question, what's the lead time on getting it in? They just ordered it this week.

I hope you don't have to travel to San Antonio… thieves love them some F150 taillights if they're equipped with radar.

Luckily I don't have any plans to ever go to San Antonio

Question -- Does the locking tailgate slow them down or do the thieves just destroy the latch? Also, kinda like we all put a hose clamp on our tailgates, would swapping the screws to a different head style (or even adding a tamper resistant head style) put a stop on the thief?

Not really they'll just break into your truck and then unlock/hit the power tailgate button.

They sell kits that supposedly slow them down and have set screws with almost a torx head that is harder to remove.

Yes they're about $3k total and more when you have a window to repair…

The design of the lock cylinder on the driver side door is a well-known easy entry point for Fords. Pull the handle back and twist the exposed lock cylinder with a set of channel lock pliers. It is faster than using a key.

Once the cherry is popped on your vehicle, many owners opt to have the body shop install a handle from the rear door. It is functionally the same handle, but it does not have a key lock cylinder. From them on, you just use the electric key fob to unlock the door

My 2024 XL plain pickup came with LED lights, 12-1/2" screen and digital dash.

Apparently even the low end has the new stuff now.

XLT has regular incandescent bulbs. Those aren't stolen much.
